SPIN House 2013 SXSW

SPIN is adding a new party this year, their SPIN House by Esurance, Crispin Cider, and Electronic Arts Inc. It will showcase more emerging talent (compared to SPIN’s other party) and some bands you also probably heard of before. It will take place from Thursday and Saturday from 12 p.m. – 5 p.m. at Easy Tiger (709 E 6th St.). This is one of those events where you must RSVP and pick up your pass.  While it is free general admission special access will be granted to SXSW badge-holders and SXSW Wristbands. 21+ Non transferable Admission based on capacity. RSVP below

I am really excited about Red Bull’s Sound Select 120 hours in Austin. They are hosting five parties over 5 day and each will feature a band chosen by user votes. Each party will start at 4pm (great for those who get a late start to sxsw) and at Gatsby’s (708 E 6th St Austin) except the Saturday show where location and time haven’t been set. Check the lineup below, and I am sure I will see you there. RSVP below (through facebok only- blah!), people where having issues with it yesterday but it seems to be fixed now (use an updated browser). All shows 21+.

One year, I went to a MOKB day party that had free tacos and red stripe (there were really only about 50 tacos for everyone) and after the mad dash tacos was over I swear I had the best tacos and beer of my life! Because at SXSW that is all you eat and that is all you want! Trust me. So I recommend this party for those memories alone. But in case my stroll down memory lane isn’t enough to convince you to check out this party this year, look at the lineup! This party takes place over two days Thursday, March 14 and Friday March 15th  each from  Noon – 8pm at ​Peckerhead’s (402 E. 6th St)

People keep asking us and wondering about the Urban Outfitters Backlot Party for SXSW 2013 and here are the details. If you can make the walk from downtown, you will enjoy great music, free food and drinks. I always like their lineup and they have usually have bands worth looking out for. NO RSVP needed. Just show up. They will be hosting bands from Wednesday – Saturday so you should find a day to stop by. Full line up below

Pitchfor will be hosting a free day party open to the public on Thursday Match 14. And once you look at the line up you will see I was not lying when i said Thursdays have some of the best parties of the week! This party is a must see for sure. It will reach capcity and as always, get there early. This is a party you won’t want to miss. And yes kids, it is all ages! No RSVP.
